From tea parties with an imaginary friend, to firmly believing she is on Gilligan's Island, there is never a dull moment in the life of Jane Bannister-Cooper. Her niece, Linda, is the registered nurse who has been tasked with taking care of her. Jane proves to be a handful, and Linda starts taking matters into her own hands. Paul, her husband, is more concerned with running his business and finding a way to be free of her. When a lawyer tells him that a divorce would be costly, he starts considering other ways to be free of Jane. Debbie, Paul's daughter from a previous marriage, finds herself caught in the middle as she tries to keep the rest of the family together.
