It's an exciting weekend at Eagle House Resort when two families decide to vacation together. Mike Clayton and his wife Ellen are just looking for a weekend getaway at the luxurious island resort. Tammy Smith and her sister-in-law Paula Downer have gone to Eagle House Resort every year, making them regulars. This year, however, they are joined by Tammy's daughter Alice and her new son-in-law Steve Manning, who Tammy absolutely despises. After revealing a horrifying secret to Tammy, making very obvious moves on Ellen, and drinking half of the bar in a mere hour, Steve ends up dead before the end of the night. Brad Sutcliffe, the host of Eagle House Resort, is going to solve this crime with his new housekeeper Sue Howard, who has a few secrets of her own.
Meet the Cast

Brad Sutcliffe - played by Jason Robinson
Brad Sutcliffe is young, ambitious, and a bit of a schmoozer. He's the proprietor of Eagle House, an estate resort in scenic New England that's been in his family for generations. Brad almost singlehandly manages the day-to-day resort operations, and he's poured his heart into this place. Nevertheless, the past few seasons at the lake have been slower than usual. While you wouldn't know it at first glance, the business has fallen on tough times and may face foreclosure - but you didn't hear that from me. It's a big weekend for Brad though - potentially a full house. His best customer, the President of First United Bank, and his entire family are coming up to stay. Let's just say Brad has a plan to take their breath away. |
Sue Howard - played by Emily Jablonski
Sue is equal parts sass, class, and smarts. She is secretly manipulative with the best of intentions. Sue's vice is a stiff cocktail often at the most inappropriate of moments, but this never phases her. You want to be in her good side. |

Mike Clayton - played by Aref Dajani
Mike Clayton is your typical "man's man". He works in primary and secondary colors, brown, white, and black -- just like another other man. Most things for Mike are black and white, right or wrong, done well or not done. He speaks his mind, says what he means, and means what he says. He shows no tolerance for stupidity. If you can't get the job done, step aside and see how it gets done. He gets on well with his wife; they suit each other well. They get each other because they do. He seeks no pat on the back and definitely no "atta boy" from anyone for anything. He gets the job done right the first time because that's what you do. That's how he approaches life: get one thing done, move onto the next. Repeat. |
Ellen Clayton - played by Ashley Vanlandingham
Ellen Clayton is a fun, sassy, and confident young lady from the big city! Some say she is more beauty than brains, but do not ever underestimate her knowledge, she can be very surprising! Although Ellen has always had a taste for the finer things, she could never seem to quite fit in with them. But no matter the class, Ellen is always fashionable and fabulous, and she makes sure everyone knows it! Just some quick advice about Ellen; think twice before insulting or questioning her. Along with her younger brother, whom she adores, she is very confident that she is always right and that she can always protect the both of them. You could call Ellen cocky, or stubborn, or whatever you want, but one thing is certain; with Ellen, there is never a dull moment! |

Paula Downer - played by Sherry Lassiter
Paula Downer is very close to her sister-in-law, Tammy Smith and niece, Alice Manning. She is also very protective of both of them. She enjoys spending time with her family and looks forward to their annual week at the lake. Paula is the type of person who sees the good in everyone. She even sees good in Steve Manning, even when few other people see it. |
Steve Manning - played by Jeff Robert
I’d like to tell you about my buddy, Steve Manning. He’s a good guy, willing to do whatever it takes to get what he wants. He’s level-headed in everything he does, if not a little crazy, but who isn’t these days? Steve’s the kind of guy who’ll give you the shirt off his back while taking your pants. But, when he see’s something he wants, he goes for it, and damn the consequences. He just recently got married, and he seems happy and content. Doesn’t like his father-in-law very much, though. The only thing wrong with the whole situation is that he has developed a drinking problem. |

Alice Manning - Molly Dunn
Alice is a naive woman in her early 20's. She comes from a very wealthy family, and grew up in a very WASPy, Stepford environment. This is why she is very sheltered and not used to harsh situations. |
Sam Holland - Ali Sales
My friend Sam is a cop and a very good one at that. When you find yourself in trouble, Sam's the guy you call. The only thing he loves more than his job, is his family. He was planning his fathers birthday until he received a call from the Eagle House Resort. |
